Vancouver at Edmonton

Vancouver beat the Oilers 3-2 in the first week of the season and the Canucks are on a current two-game winning streak after beating Columbus and Minnesota - both on the road.  The Canucks haven't played since Sunday and Edmonton has been off since last Saturday when it won a 3-2 shootout at the Vegas Golden Knights.  Jacob Markstrom will be in goal for the Canucks and he owns a 2.72 goals-agaisnt average and he hasn't allowed more than two goals in four of his last five starts. Edmonton counters with Cam Talbot, who has a 3.11 GAA and .902 save percentage.  The Oilers are 6-15 following a win and 3-7 their last 10 overall.  Also, Edmonton is 19-44 when playing with at least three days rest dating to past seasons.  Play the Canucks.
