Vancouver at Edmonton

Vancouver has won all three meetings this season although the last one was in November when the Canucks won 6-2. The Canucks have been alternating wins and losses and they were defeated 4-3 in overtime by Arizona on Wednesday. Casey DeSmith is expected in net with a 11-9-6 record and a 2.96 goals-against average for Vancouver, which can go a long way of clinching the Pacific Division title with a win over second-place Edmonton. Vancouver goalie Thatcher Demko is nearing his return from an injury, but isn't likely to play in this game. The Oilers come off an ugly 3-2 overtime loss to lowly Arizona on Friday night and now must play a back-to-back. Vancouver has won 26 of 40 home games and Edmonton has won 21 of 39 on the road.
