Utah at New Jersey

New Jersey won the first meeting 2-1 in Utah on Dec. 19. Now it hosts the Mammoth after defeating Columbus 3-2 on Wednesday. Luke Hughes scored the go-ahead goal 4:45 into the third period, and Jake Allen had 34 saves for the Devils, who have won six of eight with two days' rest. New Jersey is 6-2 in its past eight games against the Central Division. Utah has lost four of seven, although it comes off a 7-2 win over the Islanders on Thursday. The Mammoth have gone OVER two in a row and three of four. They are 6-12 in their past 18 January games dating to last season. Utah goalie Karel Vejmelka has a 3.02 goals-against average and an .857 save percentage in day games this season.
