Tampa Bay at San Jose

Tampa Bay had its four-game win streak snapped in a 4-1 loss to Anaheim last night while San Jose lost its third in four games 3-2 to Seattle on Thursday. The Lightning have won five of the last six meetings although this will be the first one in nearly two years. Tampa Bay has won seven of eight versus Western Conference teams and the Lightning are 74-20 their past 94 games after scoring two or fewer goals their previous game and 41-13 after losing by at least three goals. The Sharks have lost six straight as underdogs and they have scored more than three goals once their last eight games and they are averaging 2.76 goals on the season.
