It may not be an exaggeration to say this is Buffalo's biggest game in 15 years. The Sabres are riding a six-game win streak. That has propelled them to a tie with Tampa Bay atop the Atlantic Division at 82 points. A win for the Sabres, who have gone 14 straight seasons without making the playoffs, would give them the sole position of first place. The Lightning certainly are not going to roll over for them. Both teams played yesterday. The Sabres nipped the Predators at home, 3-2, while Tampa Bay defeated Toronto, 5-2, on the road. Don't expect a fast-paced game. This is the tail end of a four-game, six-day road trip for Tampa Bay. This is also Buffalo's fourth game in six days. The Sabres are playing excellent defense, giving up only 10 goals in their last six games. They have not surrendered more than two goals a game during this stretch. Take the UNDER.
