St. Louis at Los Angeles

Things have sure started out much differently postseason for the defending NHL Champions. They did not lose their second playoffs game last year until they had a 3-0 lead in Round Three - that was 13 games deep into the playoffs. They never trailed in any series, and here they are down 2-0 and as they say, "turnabout is fair play." The Blues are making their case. Los Angeles easily dispatched this St. Louis team a year ago in a four game sweep. The tables are turning and it is the Blues that look like "Kings" this year as they have now held eight of their last nine opponents to a single goal, including the Kings twice on the road in this series. The Blues are 45-22 off a game where hey allowed 2 goals or less and 46-20 on a day of rest. The Kings are now just 1-4 in their last five vs. a team over .600, and just don't look like the same team. Go with St. Louis.
