St. Louis at Edmonton

A pair of teams bound for the playoffs will meet in Edmonton tonight as the Blues are in town. Oddsmakers have certainly struggled with NHL totals this season, so this one is juiced a bit, but it's still not enough. St. Louis comes in having played 8-2 to the OVER in their last 10 contests. Those 10 games have seen eight reach seven goals or more. It has been nearly a month since they have failed to top the total on the road. Not to be outdone, Edmonton is 8-1 to the OVER in their last nine, and those games have averaged 8.4 total goals per contest. There certainly is no reason to think this one isn't going to suddenly turn the events of what has been going on with both teams, which are a combined 16-3 to the OVER in their last 19 games between them. Make the play on the OVER.
