Seattle has won four of five meetings, including 7-1 on Nov. 22 in the only meeting this season. The Kraken hit a rough stretch losing four in a row, but they have bounced back to win two of three following Sunday's 4-2 victory over Columbus. Jordan Eberle scored two power-play goals and had an assist to back Joey Daccord, who had 30 saves. Seattle goalie Philipp Grubauer might get his first start since Dec. 9 after coming off the injury list. Mackenzie Blackwood is confirmed for the Sharks and he owns a 7-17-3 record with a 3.63 goals-against average. San Jose had a rare three-game win streak snapped in a 5-2 loss to Buffalo on Saturday and the Sharks still have the worst record in the NHL. San Jose has won only eight of 23 home games and it averages just 2.08 goals per game overall. Seattle is 13-0 its past 13 games as a favorite of -201 or greater and 8-1 against teams with losing records. The Sharks are 4-23 after losing by at least three goals their previous game.
