San Jose at Vancouver

I like how Vancouver is playing right now. They have won four of five games, scoring 4+ goals in four of those five games and averaging 4.8 goals per game in the process. San Jose's defense has taken a vacation as they allowed 11 goals in their last two games and 4.0 per game over their last six. But, what really strikes me here is Vancouver's defense. At home this team has allowed just 23 goals all season (1.8 per game). That's why they are 10-3 here. Yes, San Jose is good, but Vancouver is 7-1 this season vs. teams at .600 or better! Give me this kind of team at home with even odds all day long. I also like the UNDER here. Yes, Vancouver's offense has been rolling, but this will be an intense game and San Jose should play better. And Vancouver's defense at home this season has been as stingy as it gets (1.8 goals per game). The Canucks play their best defense in the biggest games as they are 10-3 UNDER this season vs. teams that average 3+ goals per game. I like this one to go UNDER the total.
