Chicago got a 2-1 shootout victory in the only meeting this season on Jan. 16 and the Blackhawks are favored in this game after winning three of five although they do come off a 5-0 loss to Los Angeles on Friday. San Jose has lost 12 of 13 and three in a row following a 4-2 defeat at Columbus on Saturday and the Sharks are playing their fourth consecutive road game in a seven-day period. Goalie Devin Cooley will make his first NHL start for the Sharks after being acquired in a trade with Buffalo. Cooley played 14 games for the Rochester Americans this season and was 6-6-2 with a 3.77 goals-against average. The Sharks are 10-49 their past 59 games as road underdogs and they are just 9-45 overall after scoring two or fewer goals their previous game. Take the Blackhawks.
