San Jose has won two in a row after sweeping a two-game series with Los Angeles, including a 4-2 win on Wednesday when Evander Kane scored twice to back Martin Jones, who had 42 saves. Jones has allowed a total of only five goals his last four starts, and he is 10-6-2 on the season. Darcy Kuemper still is out for Arizona, and Adin Hill is probable tonight. He is 2-3-1 with a 2.97 goals-against average. The teams split two meetings in January, but the Coyotes have lost six of their past eight games, though they did manage a 5-4 shootout win over Colorado on Tuesday. Arizona is 7-19 its past 26 games following a win, 2-6 after scoring at least five goals its previous game. Also, the Coyotes are 3-8 against an opponent that allowed two or fewer goals its previous game. Take the Sharks.
