Pittsburgh at Philadelphia

After a rare three-game winless streak, the Penguins exploded their last time on the ice for nine goals in a 9-2 win over the Islanders their last time on the ice. It is a bad sign for the Flyers because when the Penguins get hot, they sizzle. They had a six-goal explosion at St. Louis and followed it with five their next time out and a win. They had a seven-goal explosion against Detroit, and went on to score five in a win over these same Flyers. Speaking of the Flyers, the Penguins have dominated them. In their last 11 games, including a 4-1 verdict in the playoffs last year and 2-0 this season, the Penguins stand at 9-2 vs. Philly. The Flyers are also just 4-9 against teams with a winning record. The nine goals scored in the last game is not only good news for the Penguins it is bad news for the Flyers, as they are just 1-4 when playing a team after they have scored five goals or more in their last game. Do-be-do-be-do, the Penguins get the nod in this one.
