Pittsburgh at Philadelphia

Fat and happy, the Flyers come home after winning three straight road games all as an underdog, with the last coming against the Devils, 5-3, this past Saturday. Philadelphia has not won four consecutive games all season. This is the right time to step in against them with the Penguins. The Penguins had registered at least a point in five of their previous six games before suffering a 7-2 pounding at the hands of the Maple Leafs as a slight home favorite this past Saturday. That was a season-high in goals the Penguins allowed. Not only do the Penguins want to atone for that embarrassing performance, but their next two road games on their current three-game away trip are against the Lightning and Stars. Philadelphia has its next six games all at home. The Flyers rank 24th in scoring and 30th in shots on goal. Pittsburgh is 15th in scoring and has the second-best power play in the league. Sidney Crosby still remains a force at 38. He's averaging better than a point per game with 27 (16 goals, 11 assists) in 24 outings. Take the Penguins.
