Pittsburgh at Detroit

Detroit has short revenge for a 4-3 road loss to Pittsburgh just two days ago. Now the Red Wings get the Penguins at home. The Red Wings are 6-1-0 on home ice since Dec. 2. Pittsburgh is 1-4 in its last five away games. The Red Wings lead the Eastern Conference with 52 points, which is seven more points than the Penguins have. Each team is projected to start a different goalie than the one who was in net this past Thursday. That means John Gibson for Detroit instead of Cam Talbot. Gibson is the Red Wings' hot goalie with a 9-1 record, a 2.21 goals-against average, and a .925 save percentage and two shutouts in 10 appearances since Dec. 2. Stuart Skinner is likely to start in net for Pittsburgh. The Penguins have allowed 17 goals in the four games Skinner has been in goal for them. Take the Red Wings.
