Pittsburgh at Boston

Pittsburgh heads out on the road after Tuesday's 3-0 setback at home to St. Louis. The team is 4-4 the last eight games, losing three times as chalk. The Penguins are one game over .500 on the road for the season because the defense has slipped from last season at #22 in goals allowed, and #24 in penalty killing. They are also not healthy, with Kris Letang out and set to miss his sixth straight game with a lower-body injury, while both Evgeni Malkin and Patric Hornqvist missed practice Wednesday with lower-body injuries. Malkin will be out until after the weekend All-Star break while Hornqvist is day-to-day. Boston has no such defensive problems at #10 in the NHL in goals allowed, second in penalty killing.
