Surprising everyone, the Kraken went into Christmas break riding a three-game winning streak having upset the Kings, Ducks and Sharks all on the road. Look for reality to set in as Seattle comes off break to host the Flyers. The much improved Flyers are 19-10-7 and only four points behind Carolina in the Metropolitan Division. This is Philadelphia's first game following Christmas break. The Flyers have won their last two games defeating the Blackhawks and Canucks each by multiple goals. The Flyers have won by two or more goals during each of their last six victories. The Kraken are 1-7 at home since Nov. 26 with the lone victory coming after they tied the Kings in the final minute and won in overtime. Philadelphia beat Seattle, 5-2, at home in the team's earlier meeting this season. Dan Vladar is projected to be in goal for Philadelphia. Vladar is 7-1-1 lifetime against the Kraken with a 2.51 goals against average and .905 save percentage against them. Take the Flyers on the puck line.
