Philadelphia at Minnesota

Minnesota was on an unbelievable OVER run. From Dec. 27 through February, the Wild went OVER in 20 of 22 games. But that OVER streak is done. It has been replaced by an UNDER streak. The Wild have not played an OVER during their last five games. The Wild have been quite stingy, holding their last four opponents to a combined five goals in regulation. Minnesota ranks fourth defensively, allowing 2.8 goals a game. Philadelphia ranks 25th in scoring and has the league's least effective power play. However, the Flyers have been playing strong defense. They have not allowed more than three goals in a game during 10 of their last 11 games. Philadelphia defeated Minnesota, 2-1, in overtime during the team's first meeting this season. The Flyers likely will start Dan Vladar in net after Samuel Ersson made the start against the Capitals in a 4-1 Philadelphia home win on Wednesday. Vladar is the Flyers' best goalie. He has a 2.52 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage this season. Filip Gustavsson is projected to be in net for Minnesota. Gustavsson has a 2.46 GAA and a .913 save percentage this season.
