Vegas has been getting early leads before having breakdowns that lead to third-period comebacks by their opponents. It happened again on Friday when Buffalo scored four times in the final 15 minutes to win 5-2. Logan Thompson gave up four goals and he is expected in net again tonight as starter Adin Hill is out with a lower body injury and hasn't played since Nov. 30. The Golden Knights had escaped with wins their two previous games that went into overtime or a shootout and they have allowed 13 goals their past three games. Ottawa has won four of five against a team that scored at least five goals its previous game.
