Sometimes when a team gets a reputation it is hard to shed that label. I think there is a significant burden on the Sharks in that regard. The Sharks at one time had one of the most demanding arenas to come away with a road win in the NHL. They went through a stretch where they were 360-230 at home. That has changed significantly as San Jose is just a woeful 47-68 since the start of the 2019 season. That has hit rock bottom this year where the Sharks are a woeful 1-10 on the season on home ice.
