Ottawa at Arizona

Ottawa became the fourth team to fire its head coach this season and the first three all won their first games with interim coaches. D.J. Smith was shown the door and Jacques Martin will take over on an interim basis for the Senators. Arizona had lost four straight before winning their past two against San Jose and Buffalo without allowing a goal. However, the Coyotes have had trouble scoring lately with only 11 goals their past six games. Ottawa won both meetings last season and it averages 3.35 goals per game compared to 3.03 for Arizona. Anton Forsberg was in net for both victories against the Coyotes in 2022-23 and stopped 46 of 51 shots and he is probable tonight.  Look for Ottawa to go all out for its new coach and play the Senators.
