New York defeated Philadelphia 5-4 in a shootout on Saturday for just its first win in 18 home games. Artemi Panarin scored the shootout winner after New York killed off two overtime penalties. Now the Rangers go on the road where they have won 13 of 19 and they won the first meeting against the Predators 6-3 on Nov. 10. Jonathan Quick is the likely starter for the Rangers and he owns a 1.88 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage. Justus Annunen is 1-5-1 with a 3.76 GAA for the Predators, who have lost six Sunday games in a row. The Rangers have won four of five against teams that scored at least five goals their previous game.
