New York at Carolina

The New York Rangers are off back-to-back games vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins, and they could take to the road as a very flat team here tonight in Carolina. The Hurricanes have lost 10 of their last 11 games, and certainly don't present the Rangers with a spot where they will be motivated after two top-level games against an elite club. It will also be their fourth game in six nights, a situation they have failed in recently at just 2-6 in their last eight. The Hurricanes have done well by bouncing back after a bad defensive effort of allowing 5+ goals, at 4-1 in their last five. Take the home dog here, and back Carolina.
