Once upon a time, the Shark Tank was a lethal venue where opponents came to get hammered. Not so much lately as San Jose is just 7-5 here this season. The Islanders have quickly rebuilt after a disappointing 2017 season. They were a playoff team a year ago and at 16-4 this season are now a bonafide Stanley Cup contender. They have won five straight games and have averaged four goals per contest in the five wins. They certainly have an edge on both ends of the ice tonight as well as between the pipes.
