New York essentially has to win its remaining games to even have a shot at the playoffs and the Islanders will go for their third straight win after beating Washington 4-1 on Sunday when Alex Ovechkin scored his record-breaking goal for the Capitals' only score. New York has won four in a row after allowing two of fewer goals its previous game and the Islanders are 8-2 their past 10 games versus teams that scored two or fewer their previous game. Nashville has lost six straight while scoring only 10 goals and it has gone UNDER seven of eight overall and six of eight against the Metropolitan Division. The Predators are 48-29-0 UNDER this season. New York has stayed UNDER three straight and eight of nine and Nashville is 8-1 UNDER as a home underdog. Ilya Sorokin likely is back in net for New York and he is 29-23-6 with a 2.78 goals-against average. Take the Islanders and the UNDER.
