New Jersey at Washington

Not much left to play for with the New Jersey Devils. It has been a rough season, and they are playing out the string. The last 5 games have seen the offense produce 18 total goals or 3.6 per contest, but the defense has really packed things in. The Devil's defense has allowed 25 goals over the stretch or 5 per contest. The total goals scored have been 8.6 per contest with 4 of the 5 playing over the total. Washington has played wide-open hockey in its last 10 games which have produced a 9-1 mark to the over in the 10 game period. These games over the 10 game period show average total goals scored of 7.6 per contest. It certainly should be an offensive battle here and I will side with the OVER.
