The Devils had a tough outcome at home in their opener vs. Winnipeg but still managed to steal a point in the standings. They will trek across the state to take on Buffalo, who is coming off an impressive 3-1 win in Pittsburgh. The good news for New Jersey is they have had the Sabres' number of late, winning three of the last four and posting an 8-3-1 mark in the last 12 meetings. The Rangers have a bad taste as they blew a four goal lead vs. Winnipeg, and a full 60 minutes in this one is a lot more likely. Take New Jersey.
