Nashville at New York

When playing at home, the Rangers are the gift that keeps giving for those fading them. New York has yet to win at Madison Square Garden in seven games this season. It has probably become mental because the Rangers can't find the back of the net when playing at home. New York has been shut out in five of its seven home games. This includes the last two - a 5-0 loss to the Islanders two days ago and a 3-0 blanking to the Hurricanes six days ago. The Rangers were favored in both of these games, just like they are here. This is the worst home start in the Rangers' franchise history. Nashville ranks 30th in scoring. Yet the Rangers are even lower-scoring, ranking 31st in goals per game and last on the power play. The Predators have dropped four in a row. But they did take the Wild to overtime in their last road game. Until the Rangers prove they can win at home, they are worth going against.
