It would always appear dangerous to play against San Jose at the Shark Tank, but they have lost some of that edge. They finished just 10-8 there a year ago, and one of the teams that broke through was this Minnesota Wild team. The Sharks have now dropped four straight after a win, and the team we saw at the beginning of last season isn't what we have seen on the ice since. A hint to some inconsistencies lies in the fact that after scoring five goals, the Sharks have gone UNDER to a mark of 40-18-3. The Wild seems to rebound and defend that exact same situation as they are 40-16-10 to the UNDER after their opponent scores five or more in their last game. That leaves San Jose on the weaker side of both as they score much less, and their opponent defends much better, leaving an opening for a rather significant road dog that won their last time in here. I'm going with Minnesota and the UNDER here.
