Los Angeles at New Jersey

Neither the Kings nor the Devils has an offense that can be trusted. LA is 29th in scoring. New Jersey is even worse, ranking 30th in scoring. Both teams have much better defensive numbers. LA is eighth on defense, while the Devils rank 13th defensively. The Kings just played an UNDER on Friday, beating the Islanders on the road, 3-2. Now they are in a back-to-back spot. LA has played without rest four times since Jan. 27. They have scored a meager five goals in those four games. New Jersey has been held to one goal or fewer in six of its last 11 games. The Devils were blanked, 3-0, at home by the Red Wings two games ago. The Devils defeated the Kings, 4-1, back in November. It was the fifth straight UNDER in the series. Jacob Markstrom recorded 43 saves on 44 shots in the victory against the Kings during November's first meeting. He is projected to be in goal today. Take the UNDER.
