The Stars' scoring five goals in each of their first three games seems like a distant memory right now. Dallas is in a dry spell, scoring only five goals in its last three games. Dallas only lost three consecutive regular-season matchups in regulation once during Peter DeBoer’s three seasons in Dallas, and that was during the team's seven-game losing streak to end the 2024-25 regular season. New coach Glen Gulutzan has to put strong emphasis on defense during this scoring slump. The Kings are also at an early-season near-crisis point with a disappointing 2-5 record. Los Angeles halted a four-game losing streak with a 2-1 overtime victory at St. Louis on Tuesday, limiting St. Louis to only 17 shots on net. Both teams have excellent goalies - Darcy Kuemper for the Kings and Jake Oettinger for the Stars - and each goalie is projected to start. So goals should be hard to come by. Take the UNDER.
