Los Angeles defeated Montreal 4-2 on Saturday as Pheonix Copley had 20 saves and the Kings got off to a fast start with Anze Kopitar and Viktor Arvidsson scoring 19 seconds apart in the first period. Columbus beat Calgary 3-1 on Friday, but it was just the third win in 10 games for the Blue Jackets who had allowed 13 goals their previous two games against Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Joonas Korpisalo and Elvis Merzlikins shared the goaltending duties against the Flames and they combined for 31 saves. However, Columbus has had trouble in net this season and Merzlikins is probable tonight and he has a ghastly 4.82 goals-against average and 3-7-0 record with an .862 save percentage.
