Florida at Vegas

The downward spiral continues for Vegas, which is in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. The Golden Knights have lost five straight and are dealing with several injuries, including starting goalie Robin Lehner, who is out indefinitely. The Knights just ended a disastrous 0-5 road trip that culminated with a 7-3 rout by Winnipeg on Tuesday. Backup goalies Laurent Brossoit and Logan Thompson appeared to be overwhelmed as the Jets scored the seven goals on only 23 shots. Florida has won six of seven after defeating San Jose 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday with Spencer Knight stopping 24 shots for the Panthers, who beat Vegas 4-1 on Jan. 27. The Golden Knights are 1-6 their last seven versus teams with .600 or higher winning percentages. My third Max Play is on the Panthers.
