When Toronto and Florida last met, it was Game 7 of their Stanley Cup playoff series last May. In true Toronto fashion, the Maple Leafs lost that crucial game, 6-1. The Maple Leafs would love to get some measure of revenge by upsetting the Panthers here. But the spot isn't right for that to happen. Toronto is down three defensemen, and this is its fifth consecutive road game. The Maple Leafs had failed to score more than two goals in their previous four games until breaking out with a 7-2 win against Pittsburgh this past Saturday. Toronto was outshot 35-23 by the Penguins, though. The Panthers are in major "stop-the-pain" mode following consecutive home losses as big favorites against the Flames and Flyers. The Panthers have not played since Friday. The two-time defending champions will be ready. Take the Panthers.
