Florida at Los Angeles

I had the UNDER in Florida's game at San Jose last Thursday, and it lost, with San Jose winning 4-3 in overtime. Florida is without center Aleksander Barkov, who is on injured reserve, and the Panthers have scored six goals in three games this season. Los Angeles allowed 2.98 goals a game last season, 11th-fewest in the league. Its offense averaged 2.71 goals per game, 29th, and the Kings' games averaged 5.69 total goals, the lowest in the league. Florida allowed 3.37 a game, fifth-most, so the Panthers will give up their share, and the Kings opened this year with an 8-4 loss at Colorado and a 5-4 loss at San Jose. Two games are a small sample against the 83 Los Angeles played last season. A Kings offense at that rate and a Florida lineup missing Barkov point the same way. Take the UNDER tonight.
