Florida at Carolina

Carolina returns home from a three-game road trip. Awaiting the Hurricanes are the Panthers, who just upset Carolina, 4-3, as a home underdog this past Friday. Florida outshot Carolina, 39-29. The Hurricanes had Jaccob Slavin and Seth Jarvis in that game, too. Both are out with injuries now. Jarvis leads the Hurricanes in goals with 19. The Panthers have been inconsistent due in part to injuries to Matthew Tkachuk and Aleksander Barkov, but the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions remain dangerous, especially when they get up for games like this one. Carolina blew a 3-0 lead to the Panthers in Friday's loss. That has to hurt mentally. Florida is in a good offensive groove, producing 18 goals in its past five games. Take the Panthers.
