Winnipeg at Edmonton

Winnipeg has lost six of eight, and a lot of it has to do with the absence of star goalie Connor Hellebuyck, who is out with an injury. The Jets also haven't been scoring much, though they did come off a 4-1 win over Buffalo on Friday night, when Eric Comrie stopped 34 shots. The Jets are now facing a back-to-back, and Thomas Milic will likely start. He is 0-1-0 with a 3.64 goals-against average in two appearances this season. Milic allowed four goals in a 5-1 loss to Carolina on Nov. 28.
Edmonton has won three of five after trouncing Seattle 9-4. Connor McDavid had a hat trick, and Calvin Pickard had 28 saves for the Oilers, who are 41-12 in their past 53 home games against teams with losing road records. The Jets are 1-10 on the road versus teams with winning home records. Take the Oilers.
