Edmonton at Washington

Edmonton had won four in a row before losing in overtime 3-2 to Ottawa on Monday, but the Oilers still have allowed only 12 goals their past five games and appear to have returned to the form that got them off to a good start this season. Also, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins returned from an injury he suffered on Dec. 31 and it has made a difference with Edmonton's offense and depth. Washington has split its last 10 games although it comes off two wins against Dallas and Pittsburgh, including a 4-3 overtime victory over the Penguins last night and now it plays a back-to-back.
