Edmonton at St. Louis

The Blues are getting close. They have lost one-goal games to the Blue Jackets and Canucks in their last two games. However, the sad fact remains that St. Louis has lost seven in a row. The Blues have allowed a league-high 4.57 goals per game during their drought. They rank 31st in penalty-kill percentage during this seven-game skid and are 27th on the season. Edmonton is a bad team for the Blues to be playing right now. The Oilers own the top power play in the NHL, featuring superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. The Oilers are averaging 4.28 goals a game in their last seven games. Draisaitl has nine goals and 17 assists in 25 career games versus the Blues. Edmonton's goaltending is nothing to brag about, but it is superior to the Blues. St Louis is projected to start Jordan Binnington in net. He is off to a bad start, like the rest of his teammates, with a 3.21 GAA and an .860 save percentage. Not helping matters for St Louis is its No. 1 center, Robert Thomas, who may still be out of the lineup because of an upper-body injury. The Oilers swept all three games against the Blues last season. Take the Oilers.
