The Flames are last in the league in scoring, averaging 2.5 goals a game - and the majority of those games were when they had offensive-minded defenseman Rasmus Andersson pushing their attack. Since the Flames traded Andersson to the Golden Knights seven games ago, their scoring average has dipped to 1.7 goals a game. No team has scored fewer goals per game during this stretch than Calgary. This doesn't bode well for the Flames against Edmonton, which is third in the league in scoring at 3.4 goals a game and first on the power play. Edmonton's scoring average is up to 4.4 goals per game over the past five games. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl rank first and fifth, respectively, among the NHL's top point-getters.
