Detroit has won all three meetings this season with the latest being 3-2 in overtime on Dec. 28. The Red Wings currently have won six of seven following a 4-3 overtime victory over Ottawa on Sunday when Alex DeBrincat scored 36 seconds into the extra session and John Gibson stopped 19 of 22 shots. Gibson has won his past six starts and Detroit is 6-0 its past six games playing with two days rest. The Red Wings have won five of six against teams that allowed at least five goals their previous game and five of six versus the Atlantic Division. Toronto has lost three of four and it has gone OVER five in a row. The Maple Leafs have gone OVER six of seven Wednesday games and they are 4-1-1 OVER after allowing five goals or more their previous game. Toronto has surrendered 21 goals its past four games.
