The Detroit Red Wings have struggled over the past few seasons, but are on the threshold of a .500 record and can get there with a win on the road at Philadelphia. The Flyers have had season-long struggles and are dealing with an array of injuries. They have recorded just two wins in their last 10 games where they have allowed three or more goals in eight of them. Detroit has been scoring rather consistently as they have reached the three-goal mark (or more) in seven of their last nine contests.
