Dallas took Game 1 on the road, 3-2. In the last series, they won the first road game at Colorado, 2-1 in overtime, before getting crushed in the next game, 4-0. Winnipeg went 30-7-4 at home during the regular season and is 4-1 at home in the playoffs. The Jets gave it their all in Game 1, with an edge in shots of 31-24 and in hits, 46-24. The Jets led the NHL with 116 points while ranking No. 1 in goals given up (2.32 per game), while the offense was fourth in scoring (3.35 goals per game), No. 1 on the power play, and third in shooting percentage. Given how Winnipeg played on the road in St. Louis, every player understands the importance of this contest. The Jets' offense is as healthy as it has been during the playoffs, and if Connor Hellebuyck plays like he did in Game 1, we should be looking at an even series when they head to Dallas. Play Winnipeg tonight.
