Dallas at Anaheim

The Anaheim Ducks were a mess last year and finished 23-59. The team totally gave up late in the season and lost their final 13 games. They have to feel pretty good coming off their home opener with a surprise win over the Carolina Hurricanes 6-3. They reached the 6-goal mark just twice last season in 82 games, so this is a positive sign for the Ducks. Dallas was a playoff team a year ago and should be again. The Stars lost their rod opener in Las Vegas 3-2. The Ducks faced Dallas one time at home a year ago and won the game 2-0. The shutout turned out to be the only one of the season for Anaheim. I think there is too much in the line based on a year ago, and I will back Anaheim in this one.
