Columbus at Edmonton

Edmonton has lost six in a row while scoring a total of only nine goals in that span, including a 5-1 loss to Toronto on Tuesday night. What's worse is five of those defeats have come at home and the Oilers are still at home tonight against the Blue Jackets, who will have Elvis Merzlikins in net with a 11-6-0-1 record and 2.94 goals-against average. Goalie Mike Smith could return for Edmonton after being out since October. Columbus blew a three-goal lead and lost 4-3 to Vancouver with Merzlikins making 35 saves.
