Columbus at Colorado

Columbus is winless, but Colorado has a losing record overall, as well as at home. The Columbus Blue Jackets have talent and shook things up this week by bringing in a new coach in John Tortorella. They played better in his debut Thursday in a 3-2 loss at Minnesota. The Blue Jackets are 7-2 against the Western Conference and 7-3 when their opponent allows two or fewer goals in their previous game. Colorado comes off a 1-0 loss at home to Carolina as a -135 favorite, part of a 1-3 skid. The Avalanche have managed just one tally in their last two games and six in the past four. Colorado was blanked 1-0 in overtime by Carolina at home Wednesday and when these teams clash the road team is 4-1 in the last five meetings. Go with Columbus.
