Colorado at Vegas

Colorado was great at home last year (31-9-1) but 19-16-6 on the road. A shortage of depth has hurt them since winning the Stanley Cup in 2022. Last year, they got bounced in the second round and didn't do much to improve the depth for this season. And defense is still a concern after ranking 15th in goals given up, 16th in shots on goal allowed, and 20th in save percentage. Vegas opens the new season at home where they went 27-12-2. The defense was 12th in shots on goal allowed and 11th in save percentage, while the offense was 14th in goals scored and 12th in shooting percentage.
