Colorado at St. Louis

The Colorado Avalanche saw their double-digit winning streak come to an end the last time on the ice in Montreal. The Blues have sandwiched three wins around their worst loss of the season at Arizona. They have been playing strong in the net and on the back end of the ice, as opponents have lit the lamp just twice in the three wins. The Avalanche streak was built with offense, but they were cooled down in Montreal, held to just two goals. This is a letdown game after a big streak and also a third straight road game, and I think the streak kept the offense attacking at a high level, but I think things will be cold here vs. a team defending strong.
