Colorado at San Jose

Colorado looks to bounce back after losing 6-2 to the Sharks on Monday, when Philipp Grubauer had a rare, poor performance allowing five goals. Grubauer still is 10-6-0 with a 2.20 goals-against average this season, and he shut out San Jose with 21 saves on Jan. 28. The Avalanche has sitll won four of the past five meetings, and the Sharks have lost five of their last eight games and are second-to-last in the West Division. Colorado is 9-1 its last 10 games after losing by at least three goals, and they won't get complacent, as it did after jumping out to a 2-0 lead on Monday. Also, Colorado is 9-2 after scoring two or fewer goals its previous game and the Avs have won 20 of their last 29 road games. The Sharks are 0-8 following a win. Take the Avalanche.
