Pavel Francouz relieved him and gave up the final goal while taking the loss. New York defeated St. Louis, 2-1, as Oliver Wahlstrom and Brock Nelson scored to back Ilya Sorokin, who had 27 saves. The Islanders look to avenge a 5-3 loss to Colorado on Tuesday, and they have won five of the last eight times they have met. Also, the Avalanche is 1-11 the last 12 meetings at New York with the home team at 21-5-1 in the last 27 meetings. New York has won seven of 10 after scoring two or fewer goals in its previous game, and it is getting good line value in this game. Take the Islanders.
