Colorado at Minnesota

Minnesota cut Colorado's playoff series advantage to 2-1 by winning Game 3 at home this past Saturday night. They did it by defense and outstanding goaltending from Jesper Wallstedt, who turned aside 35 shots, in the Wild's 5-1 victory. There had been 15 and seven combined goals during the first two games of the series, both OVERS. Expect this Game 4 to stay UNDER. The Avalanche should respond defensively. So should goalie Scott Wedgewood, who was pulled in favor of Mackenzie Blackwood in Game 3. Wedgewood led the NHL in save percentage and goals against average during the regular season. He had matched Colorado's postseason record with six consecutive victories until being embarrassed in the last game. The Avalanche surrendered only 2.4 goals a game during the regular season, best in the league. They also had the best penalty-kill unit on the power play. Colorado has given up two or fewer goals in regulation during 11 of its last 13 games. The UNDER is 9-3 in Colorado's last 12 games against a Central Division opponent. The Wild gave up the fourth fewest goals during the regular season at 2.9. The UNDER has cashed in four of the last five meetings the Wild have hosted the Avalanche. Take the UNDER.
